Feed The Children
Founded in 1979 by Larry and Frances Jones. Feed The Children is a Christian non-profit relief organization . The
mission of Feed The Children is to deliver food, medicine, clothing and other necessities to families who lack these essentials due
to famine, war, poverty or natural disaster. In 2003 Feed The Children shipped 61 million pounds of food and 22 million pounds of
other essentials to children and their families in all 50 states and in 62 foreign countries. Feed The Children supplements 500,000
meals a day worldwide.
Jones began Feed The Children after a visit to Haiti where he saw the tremendous suffering of Haitian
children. After reading an article about surplus grains being dumped by American farmers he raised enough money to pay for the shipment

Founded in 1971 Food For The Hungry helps feed the world's most disadvantaged people. in 37 countries through
child development programs, agriculture and clean-water projects, health and nutrition programs, education and emergency relief. Considered
as one of the most efficient charitable organizations in America. Over 93 percent of total income, including commodities, goes to

Family Care Foundation
