We are celebrating 35 years of working with some of the poorest and most vulnerable children across the world. As a Christian organisation, it is so important for us to round off our milestone year thanking God for all He has done, and to commit the next 35 years into His hands. Please join us!
Our Thanksgiving Service will take place on Saturday 1 December, at The Salvation Army in Lamb Street, Coventry, CV1 4AG. Both Baroness Caroline Cox (left) and Fiona Castle (below), our long-standing friends and Patrons of Global Care, will be taking part in the service.
There will be an opportunity earlier in the afternoon, from 2pm, to meet the team and attend a choice of expert workshops, exploring aspects of Global Care’s work, including the effects of adverse childhood experiences, our focus on disability, and our work to engage supporters here in the UK. There will also be an opportunity to pray. Please do join us in the afternoon to learn more about the strategies underpinning our work.
Refreshments and a light tea will be provided between the workshops and main service, which will start at 6.30pm. We are very much looking forward to sharing with our supporters at this event and celebrating all God has done for Global Care over the last 35 years!
