Take A Risk for Children@Risk

Abseil from the roof of Coventry's most iconic building - go on, you know you want to!

It's a chance to take on a unique challenge, and to see Coventry from a whole new perspective!

Our charity abseil at Coventry Cathedral will be taking place on Saturday 24 June, from 10am until 5pm. We are using the event to relaunch our Children@Risk initiative, helping children in crisis worldwide.

Children@Risk is Global Care’s key intervention fund, enabling us to act quickly, flexibly and effectively, bringing hope to children and families in crisis. It also incorporates our Medical Response Fund, a life-saving initiative enabling all our international partners to pay for urgent medical treatment when children cannot access or afford medical care.

We are asking participants to raise a minimum of £100 in sponsorship OR sign up as a Children@Risk partner for a minimum regular donation of £3 per month for 3 years. It's up to you which route you choose - either way you'll end up hanging onto that rope and enjoying the view!

If you want to take part you'll need to reserve a place by sending your name and contact details to Anita at events@globalcare.org, and we'll send you an information pack.

Participants must be a minimum of 14 years of age.
