As we raise money for the incredible work our partners at the GCare Foundation do in Patripul, India this Lent, we also want to pray. We are a Christian organisation who believes that prayer is powerful and effective.

Our partners work with the Dalit community in Patripul. This incredibly deprived community is discriminated against and rejected by the culture around them, suffering incalculable abuse that is rarely acknowledged, let alone prosecuted. Dalit children are therefore very vulnerable – but the GCare Foundation demonstrates every single day that they are loved, precious and cared for by God.
Faith In Action Bible reflections
Our Faith In Action Bible reflections focus on the four key areas of our work in Patripul: education, advocacy, welfare and safe space. Each reflection draws on a passage of Scripture and what it teaches us about living out our faith in the world. There’s also a child’s story to read, giving real-life examples of the difference faith in action makes. The reflections conclude with a short prayer to get you started.
