I want to help

Have you got time, energy or expertise to share?

Volunteers make an enormous contribution to the work of Global Care, and we very much value all the support you give us. There are many, many ways you can make a difference as we work together to improve the lives of vulnerable children around the world.

We are currently looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals with relevant expertise to join our Board of Trustees.

Do you have first-hand experience of relief and development work at an operational level either in the UK or overseas? Find out more by downloading this document:  Trustee Role Description R&D

Or do you have first-hand experience of fundraising or public relations? Find out more by downloading this document: Trustee Role Description Fundraising

If you are interested in either of these roles, please do get in touch by phoning 030 030 21  030 or emailing clare@globalcare.org.uk  Thankyou!

Other volunteer roles include:

  • Charity Shops – we have three shops in Coventry and Warwickshire. Find out more here.
  • Head Office – do you have expertise in finance, marketing, law, IT or other professional fields, which you feel able to share with us? Would you like to gain experience in these or other relevant areas? Or could you help with general administrative tasks? We are always grateful for volunteer support to work alongside our small, but dedicated, staff team, based in Coventry. Find out more by contacting us here.
  • Fundraising Friends – We have some amazing volunteer groups running fun and exciting initiatives to raise money for our work. Whether that’s a coffee morning, a Fun Run, a Bake-Off or a Bonfire Banquet, you’ll have loads of fun and raise money for a very good cause. We have thriving groups in Coventry and Warwickshire, and in the North East of England. Or could you start a volunteer group in your own region? Contact us here to find out more.
  • Travelling – there are a limited number of opportunities for sponsors and donors to visit some of our overseas projects, when this is appropriate. We like giving people the opportunity to see for themselves how their money is being spent! Get in touch to find out more.

And, by the way, thanks for your interest!
