Have you got time, energy or expertise to share?

Volunteers make an enormous contribution to the work of Global Care. We truly value all the support you give us. There are many ways you can make a difference as we work together to improve the lives of vulnerable children around the world. If you want your volunteering to have a global impact, then this is the place for you!

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual with relevant expertise in fundraising to join our Board of Trustees.

  • Charity Shops – our two shops in Coventry and Warwickshire always welcome new volunteers to sort stock, support sales and chat to customers. Find out more about charity shop volunteering here
  • Head Office – could you help with general administrative tasks? Or do you have expertise in finance, marketing, law, IT or other professional fields, which you feel able to share with us?  We are always grateful for volunteer support to work alongside our small, but dedicated, staff team, based in Coventry. If you could spare 3 or 4 hours a week, we can keep you busy and you would be a fantastic support for our team! Find out more by contacting Clare Oliver.
  • Fundraising Friends – We have amazing volunteer groups running exciting initiatives to raise money for our work. Whether that’s a coffee morning, a Fun Run, a Bake-Off or a Bonfire Banquet, you’ll have loads of fun and raise money for a very good cause. We have thriving groups in Coventry and Warwickshire, and in the North East of England. Or could you start a volunteer group in your own region? Get in touch to join our fundraising friends.
  • Travelling – we love it when sponsors and donors visit the project or children they support. If you want to be part of a team visiting the country you support, our donor development officer would love to hear from you.

And, by the way, thanks for your interest!
